Menu Vignon Pourer & Aerator

It's hard not to admire the simplicity. This device is a modernistic funnel that is made of plastic and stainless steel with rubber outside for placing the device snuggly in the wine bottle. And it does work as advertised; I used it for quite a while. But in this device the aeration occurs with 4 ports on a single plane inside the device. While that will perform some aeration, and will make your wine taste better, other devices have come along that improve upon this. Still, it is my backup aerator and does fit nicely in the glove box or picnic hamper, ready at a moments notice.

A better choice might be:

Domecq NV Sherry Spain

A likeable sherry and the price is right too. Although the bottle says chill it a bit, I really enjoy more when it's closer to room temperature.

Broke Ass 2009 Red Wine Agentina

Perhaps the wine for us worldly, well educated paupers.

Lindemans 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon South Africa

It's another "light" wine from Lindemans. Light on taste, nose and everything else. And strangely, it tastes much like the their Merlot. How odd.

Lindemans 2006 Merlot South Africa

It's comes across as a "light" wine. Light on taste, nose, and everything else. It just comes off as bland with no lively elements to light up your senses.
