Acre 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon California

I picked this up on sale (a while back) at World Market. It's best feature: a lovely and lingering astringency that seems to go on for a while.

It's a clear, bright medium to deep purple colored wine with a light structure to it. Light berry aroma for the nose and a bigger, very nice berry taste for the palette. It seems to have a lingering astringency that probably what you might drink cabs for. It comes across as a lively wine, well modulated tannins and the astringency gives it a medium to long finish. Best for sipping instead of dinner.
