Frankly, not the best Pinot Noir I’ve tasted, but typical for Cavit. Try a Lorval or Tortoise Creek Pinot from 2005. They are both better, IMHO. This wine has a pale, dull brick red color. The taste seems flat to me. It has no stand out flavors or tastes but it’s not particularly astringent. It has a ho-hum finish and a so-so balance. ‘Nuff said. Grade: C- Price: $8 Wine Reviewed: |

Cavit pinot noir 2006
I love pinot noir, this wine doesn't even taste like pinot noir. It's one of the worst wines I have ever tasted.
