A very un-Pinot Grigio wine considering it's a Pinot Grigio wine. Something more like an unoaked Chardonnay, than an Pinot. Remember, you were warned! A wine that's hard to grade as it's unlike it's varietal. It's a clear, bright pale straw yellow colored wine. There is little if any structure to this one. Unlike most Pinots, this one has a decidedly un-citrus like feel. It's much more like an unoaked Chardonnay. There's some tree fruit here, (apple or pear perhaps) but like most Pinots it is rather faint. There's an OK balance with this one and a short to medium finish. It's a better wine for sipping instead of dinner with this one. Clear Bottle Bay |
