Doghouse 2006 Merlot California

Not a spectacular Merlot, but serviceable enough.

It’s a clear, bright medium depth violet colored wine with some structure to it. There are some faint berry notes for you nose and more pronounced ones for your taste buds. There’s also some moderate acidity, tannins that aren’t particularly harsh and an OK balance with a short-med finish. More of a sipping wine than a dinner wine.
