A very tasty wine from Spain. Not especially cheap, but good none the less. You might be able to find it on sale, like I did at World Market. Some aeration helpful and good the 2nd day. A clear, bright violet colored wine with a slight structure to it. The nose won't detect much but the palette has rich berry notes to enjoy. There are some smooth, rounded tannins, a lively acidity and astringency that gives this wine some real character. There is good balance here and and a medium finish. A great wine for dinner and a very good wine for sipping. Finca Antigua |
