Not a best effort. Try Toasted Head 2004 Viognier. It’s a better (slightly) choice than this…. It’s a pale, clear, bright yellow colored wine, with a decidedly medicinal nose to it. The rest also seems rather nondescript. There’s some moderate acidity and a hefty dose of tannins that yield a poor balance and finish. Grade: D Price: $15 Grape Creek |
