Cheap? Oh, yes! Good? Well, good enough for perhaps the 2nd bottle you might serve. It's a clear, bright but pale straw-yellow colored wine, with no real structure to it. There's some mild tree fruit notes to the wine, mostly for your taste buds and not your nose, at least not mine and not especially dry or sweet, but sort of middling. All of this leading to a short finish but an OK balance. Perhaps better for sipping than dinner. It would make a pretty good summer wine. Harthill Farms |
