Kenwood 2007 Red Table Wine California

It’s a so-so wine and similar (if slightly worse) than the Doghouse Merlot recently reported on. And if you saved any for the next day, a bit worse still.

It’s a clear, bright ruby-garnet colored wine with little structure. Again there are some mild berry notes for your nose and about the same for your palette. It’s another wine with moderate stringency, and an OK finish and balance. It’s a better sipping wine than dinner wine, but not by much. This wine also doesn’t seem to “age” well. I had some on the next day and even with a couple of shots of Nitrogen, the wine taste-wise fell off even further. If you open a bottle, consider finishing it that day.

For your eight dollars, some of the selections included below might be better.
