It’s a sparkling wine from Italy, made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes and certainly an inexpensive way to toast something than with Champagne. It’s a clear, bright straw yellow color wine but with out much structure to it, but plenty of bubbles, even after the wine had been opened for a while. For a brut there’s some moderate sweetness and some fruit to the taste. This gave it a nice balance but a short finish. And maybe that’s ok for a sparkling wine. There were no off notes.
