I’ve had a bad run of luck with wines from Chile of late. This one is decidedly in the plus column. It’s a good representation of a Cab for the price. Drink it alone, or with a sturdy beef dish. This is one I wouldn’t mind trying in another year. It’s a bright, clear garnet color wine, with some cherry/black cherry notes that will definitely follow from your nose to your palette. There are some tannins there, but they are muted nicely. It’s a dry wine, but not overly so, as it leaves some pucker to the taster. The balance is good and the finish is medium to long.
