Other Thoughts

I suppose I should talk a little bit about wine. While, I'll sample just about anything, my taste tends to run to drier whites (Chardonnays) and light reds (Pinot Noir, Red Zinfandels, .etc.) I really do think that good tasting wine -- and for me that wine is something that can be imbibed on it's own -- can be found at a price point below $15 a bottle. But like my motto says, I may have to drink a few bottles before I find something I like. Sauvignon Blancs and Pinot Grigio tend to be somewhat green or light wines for me and Cabs, unless they are pretty exceptional, tend to be rather "heavy". The Merlot's and Shiraz's of the world are a bit more problematical for me. Hopefully, I'll be able to give the wine an accurate read based on the wine type. But if I don't, hopefully I'll hear from the gentle reader of the review. Happy Drinking!
