Probably the best wine from Argentina I had that evening, but aerate it first. In a word, flavorful. There's no real nose to speak of -- could it be my sinuses? -- we'll never know. There's a bit of a tannin kick at the end that's going to require some aeration first, but there's also some good berry notes with a medium dry astringency and a good finish. Best for dinner but in pinch perhaps a good sipping wine. Weinert Carascal Red |
