Definitely not the sherry you might be expecting, as it's a very, very, dry one. That might put a few people off.

I picked this one up (as a split) at the checkout of World Market of all places. It turns out to be a very good Chardonnay, IMHO.

It was a "bin" find at a local World Market. Thirty percent off the usual price of $16 and although I'm not a Cab fan, this one isn't bad. Although it's four years old already, a couple more years might help this one.

So typically French, this wine. Better for dinner, but not for sipping.

For the price ($17) a very tasty wine but a better buy might be its stable mate the Cab Franc.
