Syrah / Shiraz

Tasty, but it lacks the flavor intensity to take it to the next level. I'm a bigger fan of their Zinfandel. You might try that instead.

An all too brief a taste at a recent wine tasting. It's a really inexpensive wine though.

A funny name but a rather serious and tasty wine. I got this one on the cheap at World Market in a bin clearing sale, maybe you can too. But be prepared to let this one breath for 30 minutes or so beforehand.

A good, cheap (or should I say inexpensive) Petite Sirah. And one of the better ones I've tried of late.

I liked this one better for sipping better than the Cab from the same stable. But I’m not highly recommending it, even if the price is in my price range.
